Your airline booking reference is all you need. Where to find it and what to do with it.
Two references, one that matters at the airport
A ticket booked through an agency usually carries two references: the agency's own booking reference, and the airline's booking reference — the PNR — which is generally six letters and digits.
The airline only recognises its own. That is the one you use to check in.
Where to find it
On a TripNPeace booking, the operating carrier and the airline reference are printed on your passenger itinerary, and appear in your account under the booking. We put them there deliberately: an itinerary that hides the carrier is the single biggest reason travellers get stuck at check-in.
Then check in with the airline directly
Go to the operating carrier's own website or app, enter the airline reference and the passenger surname, and check in as if you had booked with them. Seats, bags and boarding passes are all managed there.
If the reference is not recognised
That normally means the ticket has not finished issuing yet, rather than anything being wrong. Contact us with the booking reference and we will confirm the status.
General guidance, not advice on your specific ticket. What your fare permits is set by the operating carrier’s own rules — ask us and we will read you the conditions that actually apply.
